This movie has an interesting plot but the plot building is rather boring. The gory bits of this movie is very realistic, despite being a computer graphics movie. Even the casts in the movie looked realistic. This movie is a legend about how Beowulf, a sea-monster-and-serpent-killer captured a monster and killed it. The monster was a result of the King's sin. Upon the death of this monster named Grandell, his mother seeks revenge. She kills Beowulf's army causing Beowulf to search for the mother in her cave. Beowulf falls in love with the mother and bares a child with her. This child became the next curse.
